How to Enable Remote Access on AcuLink 810 via WIFI AP Mode
The following document provides users with a procedure on how to enable remote access on the AcuLink 810 using the WIFI Access Point broadcasting from the gateway. This procedure uses a laptop to connect to the WIFI network, however the same can be done using a smartphone.
- Using a smartphone or laptop, check for available WIFI networks. The AcuLink 810 WIFI network will have the following SSID:
“AcuLink810-WIFI-S8Pxxxxxxxx”

- Once the network is discovered, click on it to join. The password for the network is accuenergy.

- After connecting to the network successful, the network should say “No Internet, secured” as per the image below.

- Next open an internet browser (Google Chrome/Firefox recommended). Enter the following IP address:
192.168.100.1
- The following web page will be observed saying the “Connection is not private”.

Click on the “Advanced” button and then select “Proceed to 192.168.100.1 (unsafe)”.
